🌟 The Power of Collective Prayer
  • Your request will be shared with multiple believers.
  • You'll receive multiple prayers from our community.
  • Each prayer strengthens our spiritual network.

What's a Praying Community?

A Praying Community is a place where one can share their requests for prayer and can also pray for other people's requests.

How do we keep the community safe?

Our Artificial Intelligence Moderator, A.I. Guardian, checks every prayer request for profanity, hate, sexual content, spam, and other elements that identify requests that are not acceptable in our environment of loving believers seeking help.

Do not share personal information!

Do not include your full name, other people's names, addresses, phone numbers, emails, or any other personal information.

You may enter initials, like, for instance: J.S., R.B.J., etc.

Do we collect any of your information?

No.

We don't even use cookies.

All access to Praying Patio is 100% anonymous, and no data is collected.

Where do we send your requests for prayers?

Once your request is verified and confirmed as a valid request (i.e., it doesn't contain profanities, hate, etc.), it is sent to our pool of prayer requests.

Every time someone clicks on the "Click to Pray for Another Person" button, they receive a request drawn from the pool of prayer requests.

So, every request gets sent to multiple people who click that button.

How big is the pool of prayer requests?

The actual number of prayer requests kept in the pool varies, depending on how often people send their requests.

The pool size is determined by date and time, rather than the number of requests.

Old requests are removed to allow new requests to be shared with the Praying Community.

How long does your request for prayer stay in the pool?

Requests for prayers are kept in the pool for 30 days.

So, for 30 days after you posted it, people will still see it and pray for it.

Why do you sometimes get the same requests more than once?

Prayer requests are drawn randomly, so it may happen that you get the same request more than once.

If that happens, you may choose to pray again for that person or click the button to get another prayer request.

Why did you receive your own request for prayer?

Since we draw prayer requests randomly, it may happen that you get your own request for prayer—this can happen more than once, but it's rare.

If you do get your own request, you may choose to pray for it or click the button to get another prayer request.

Why can't you share links to prayers?

We previously allowed sharing links to prayer requests, but some users misused it.

We plan to bring this feature back during special times of the year and, eventually, make it permanent. However, we'll monitor its use to ensure it aligns with our community's purpose: uniting people in prayer and supporting those in need.

Why do we have banners?

Praying Patio employs Artificial Intelligence to moderate prayer requests, ensuring a meaningful and respectful community.

Without moderation, the platform would be overwhelmed with spam, hate speech, profanity, and other inappropriate content.

In addition to funding AI moderation, advertisements help cover the costs of servers, database maintenance, and the technical team that keeps everything running smoothly.
